Georgia’s Eastside BBQ is an independently owned restaurant that takes great pride in providing New Yorkers a heaping plate of Southern Hospitality.

Established in 2007, Georgia’s quickly became a Lower East Side staple as well as a popular destination for tourists looking for authentic American BBQ.

Founder and owner Alan Natkiel has received national acclaim for his take on southern classics like fried chicken, BBQ ribs and catfish – as well as an ever changing chalk board of daily specials. Signature BBQ plates are what we are know for but it’s Georgia’s market fresh vegetables and heaping side dishes that separate us from other BBQ restaurants.  Fried chicken, ribs, and pulled pork are just that much better when they come with Soul Food classics like mac ‘n cheese, cast-iron skillet cornbread and home-style collard greens.

New additions to our menu include Lauren’s Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich and our Smoked BBQ Empanadas. Georgia’s features Southern and local beer, a wide range of bourbons, and our signature Southern Sangria.  One thing that will never change is our Banana Puddin’ recipe!  It’s still New York’s best…
